BLOG | Why I became a Lady boss

After working many years for companies, from SMEs to multinationals and even for the government, and then falling ill with a severe burnout, I had my eureka moment. I suddenly pictured my dream: one day, I would be my own boss and feel free.

I also could not ignore my DNA: I come from a long line of independent business owners.

After recovering and having worked as the co-owner of my ex-partner’s agency, I’ve decided to follow my own path and heart.

I soon realized this would not happen overnight. It would take time to start a business from scratch, to find clients and launch new projects.
My goal was to give projects/events another dimension by adding my personal touch. I really love connecting with my clients (I’m a people lover you know!). Listening to them and being their guide through projects, from A to Z, whether it is creating magical events or increasing their online visibility.

Starting my own business was one of the best decisions I ever made. I love what I do and do what I love. Having the freedom to make my own decisions, manage my own time and choose the people I want to work with, gives me energy.

Yes, starting your business means daring to step out of your comfort zone, gain more self-confidence, work hard and find out everything alone and make all the decisions. But, it’s possible if you believe in yourself.

Since starting my business 4 years ago, I have grown enormously, on a personal and a professional level. As a result, it is becoming more and more my mission to inspire (young) female entrepreneurs to believe in their feminine essence (intuition, heart) and dare to step out of their comfort zone: to believe in themselves, listen to their inner voice and follow their heart to make their dreams come true.

What is your WHY? What steps did you take to become the person you are NOW?

With love & light,
